PRESS RELEASE: REMIX ‘17

La Salle Dance Company – Folk (LSDC – Folk), the premier Folk Dance Company of De La Salle University, presents REMIX ’17 – the most-awaited inter-Lasallian dance competition, which will be staged at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium on November 10.

REMIX, on its ninth batch, will have the routines and performances focused on this year’s theme – Original Pinoy Movies (OPMs) – in celebration of the promotion of the modernization of the Filipino culture in mainstream media. The said event is open to the University’s organizations’ groups, and will have an open category for crews not belonging to the former distinction.

“REMIX is for dance, and for anyone who loves dance, appreciates dance, and to those who want to dance. This event provides avenues for people to be able create their own unique style, their own take on the varying theme each year,” quoted Carlo Breva, LSDC – Folk Company Manager, and REMIX’17 project head.

In awarding the competing groups, Organization-Based crew winners will be receiving cash prizes of 15,000 pesos for the Champions, and 10,000 pesos for the First Runner-Up in the said division. The Champions from the Open Category will also be receiving 15,000 pesos worth of cash prizes.

Tickets will be sold at the REMIX ’17 booth, SJ bench 7, from November 7 until November 9, at Php 200. Selling of tickets will also be available on the day, November 10, at the North Gate Lobby of De La Salle University.

This event is brought to you by John Robert Powers, and Breva Law Office, and supported by Good Sense, and Cocoline Naturals.
