UAAP: Men’s Basketball Final Elimination Round Standings

After a total of 56 games played, 14 for each of the eight member schools, the UAAP Season 76 Men’s Basketball tournament elimination round comes to an end. The NU Bulldogs, DLSU Green Archers and the FEU Tamaraws sport identical records at the top of the league, but NU takes the top seed due to a superior quotient. This paves the way for a battle between La Salle and FEU to determine the ownership of the second seed and a twice-to-beat advantage on September 21, Saturday. Following this, the Green Archers and the Tamaraws will engage in a traditional semifinal matchup, which makes their affair a virtual best-of-three for the right to enter the finals. Meanwhile, NU and the UST Growling Tigers begin their duel on September 22, Sunday, with the former holding a twice-to-beat edge. As the pressure begins to mount, the true battle begins now for the right to be crowned the new UAAP champion.
