Every trimester, the University Student Government (USG) holds the Convention of Leaders (COLE). COLE is a general assembly, which aims to gain feedback and updates from the different student organizations and sectors of De La Salle University (DLSU). The participants of this event are various student leaders with the agenda of updating other sectors with their progress and raising issues concerning their respective groups.
With the different happenings in the country today and the many partnership opportunities available, there is a potential for the student leaders of DLSU to collaboratively solve issues and concerns, and to establish relationships with other Lasallian institutions. The Office of the President has also invited a speaker from De La Salle Philippines, Ms. Joy Critica, who will talk about the current situation of the country and about the pressing national concerns. COLE is a great avenue for the student leaders to create the Lasallian Collaborative Agenda (LCA), which is a feasible and sustainable developmental plan that will address these issues and that will benefit society as whole.
COLE is an event organized by the Office of the President and is Co-Presented by Nissin Cup Noodles and Nissin Yakisoba Cup, Jack ‘n Jill Go! Scoops, Jack ‘n Jill Fun-O Crackers, Jack ‘n Jill X.O, Jack ‘n Jill Magic Chips and DLSU Green Giant FM. It will be held on August 15, 2014 from 9:00AM to 3:00PM at the 5th Floor of the Henry Sy, Sr. Hall.
