Technology Summit is an annual event that informs curious minds of the latest technology trends and innovations through interactive exhibits and seminars.

Held by La Salle Computer Society,De La Salle University’s premier computer technology organization, it introduces passionate learners to the innovations that dominate our world today.

Past summits have covered topics such as overlooked technologies and various fields in the tech industry. But for 2021, Technology Summit will focus on the untapped potential that technologies have to offer.

Understanding Cryptocurrency

We always find ways to digitize everything — memories as images, people as 3D models, and now, money as cryptocurrency. This relatively new tech that emerged thanks to innovations in cryptography has set the globe ablaze, with well-known cryptos like Bitcoin soaring in value. Learn more about crypto, the blockchain, and the economy to know why you may be interested in investing.

Building A Startup

The new normal has made it difficult for citizens to earn income, with lockdowns hampering businesses or shutting them down altogether. Thankfully, the wonders of modern technology have made earning from home much easier. Founding a startup is a great way for you to pursue your passions while expanding your profits. Discover which businesses are in demand and how you can start your own business online.

Engaging Your Online Audience

So great, you have a startup — the blueprints are all ironed out and everything is going to plan. But how can you extend your business to a wider audience? Understanding social media analytics on sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter is crucial for an online business to grow. Find out about a multitude of strategies and other know-how that you can use to increase your business’ presence online.

Aside from these, Technology Summit will also have seminars on other interesting topics such as 3D modelling, live streaming, game development, generative art, and artificial intelligence.

The event is typically held on campus, but Technology Summit has adjusted to the new normal to bring quality education to anyone anywhere. Participants would only need to pre-register online to be able to view the seminars on YouTube on June 26 and July 3.
