De La Salle University-Manila’s AB Organizational Communication Batch 118, for their Issues Management class, will be facilitating a webinar event entitled, “The Big Picture: Zooming into the Fight Against Fake News” this Friday, 11 February at 3:00 PM-5:30 PM, through Zoom conference.
Three guest speakers from different sectors will discuss their distinct experiences in fighting misinformation and disinformation in their own organizations and the whole of society. The guest speakers include Ronald Celestial, co-founder and Communications Director of Impact Leadership, Albert Pagunsan, Program Director of Fact Check Philippines, and Edgar Timbungco, the Public Relations Manager of Mang Inasal. The audience will be encouraged to raise questions during the panel discussion following the respective speakers’ discussions.
