PRESS RELEASE: CONQuest Student Scholarships—Empowering students and promoting diversity in gaming

AcadArena has recently announced the launch of CONQuest Student Scholarships. This groundbreaking initiative, led by AcadArena Scholarships & Aid (ASA), aims to provide educational assistance, financial grants, and gear aid to talented student gamers who are in need of support to pursue their academic and gaming goals. Recognizing the growing talent among female athletes in the esports scene, the committee has also introduced the Fuslie’s Scholarship for Women in Gaming, an exclusive scholarship designed to empower female students in the gaming space and foster inclusivity within the industry.

Gaming for the greater good

AcadArena firmly believes in the transformative power of gaming, opening doors to exciting opportunities and shaping the lives of passionate individuals. Through CONQuest Student Scholarships, they are determined to support the growing esports scene in the Philippines. Fuslie’s Scholarship for Women in Gaming, in particular, furthers this commitment by promoting leadership roles, amplifying their voices, and providing role models for aspiring gamers.

The grant is open to Grade 12 to undergraduate college female students. Two deserving awardees will receive up to P135,000 worth of financial aid. This financial support will allow the recipients to pursue their academic and gaming passions to the fullest. The application period for available scholarships runs from April 4 to May 22, and the awardees will be announced on May 26.

An awarding ceremony will be held on the final day of CONQuest 2023, June 4, to recognize the achievements of these remarkable individuals. There, the deserving awardees will have an exclusive opportunity to meet Fuslie, a content creator for 100 Thieves and the namesake of the grant.
