De La Salle Canlubang held its 7th Graduation Ceremonies last April 5, 2013, 2 to 4pm at the Teresa G. Yuchengco Auditorium at DLSU.
A total of 114 graduates marched at the auditorium. Rianne Mae B. Geronimo graduated as the valedictorian of the batch while Danne Angelica T. Bathan and Albert R. Ponce graduated salutatorian and honorable mention respectively.
Rianne was supposed to go to Philippine Science High School, but opted to study at DLSC for a Catholic education.
Br. Ricardo P. Laguna FSC delivered the keynote speech. He honored two exemplary students namely Rianne Mae B. Geronimo and Datu Mathar Abubakar. Office for Strategic Communications (StratCom) Director for Operations Johannes Badillo explains that the latter came from the Maguindanao tribe who moved to Biñan to take a job as a barker at a jeepney terminal.
The DLSU Reserved Corps facilitated a ceremonial folding of the DLSC flag at the end of the ceremony to mark the end of DLSC to give way to DLSC-STC.
