Two DLSU Chemical Engineering teams emerged victorious at the Inter-U 2013, quiz show that was held at the Bulwagang Tandang Sora College of Social Welfare and Community Development in the University of the Philippines Diliman Campus. The event was organized by the UP Chemical Engineering Society as part of their Students’ National Chemical Engineering Conference 2013.
Team one composed of students Frederick Tapia, Nikko Barongan, Dave Opoc and Brian Lo successfully defended the championship it won last year, while team two composed of Sed Holaysan, Clarence Co, Erik Astillero, Rainier Gomez and Eric Lance Astillero came in at first runner up.
The teams won Php 20,000 and Php 15,000 respectively. Mapua Institute of Technology’s second team came in at third place.
Chemical Engineering Department professor Dr. Michael Angelo Promentilla coached the two teams.
