We are inviting the Lasallian community to join our activities for Discipline Awareness Month 2016. This year’s theme, “I am Loved, I am Disciplined” is quite interesting because it bridges the values of love and discipline. This highlights that discipline, in whatever form or aspect, stems from love: that you are a disciplined son or daughter because you love your parents; that you are a disciplined citizen because you love your country.
No one can deny the importance of discipline in nation building, and it all begins with small actions like following our school policies and obeying traffic rules. These little steps contribute to a better school environment, and ultimately, a better community and society. Discipline, just like love, comes from within all of us, and we can all do our part in the mission of discipline formation
We hope that during this month of love, as you share the love with your family and friends, you also share the discipline with your community.
