DLSU Harlequin Theatre Guild, the premier theatre organization of De La Salle University, is proud to present the rerun of “Titser Ko Si La Salle!” in honor of the tercentenary celebration of the death of St. John Baptist De La Salle. Performances will run at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium, De La Salle University – Manila from January 30 – February 1, 2020 in celebration of the Lasallian Mentors Week.
The three plays were written by award-winning professors from De La Salle University’s Literature and Filipino Department, namely Dr. Genevieve Asenjo, Mr. Genaro Gojo-Cruz, and Mr. Maynard Manansala. All plays were directed by Mr. Romualdo “Raffy” Tejada.
“Titser Ko Si La Salle!” aims to shed light on the educators who have taught minds, touched hearts, and transformed the lives of students.

Tina, a model teacher in a rural school, chooses whether to extend the learning experience of her students by using a modern teaching equipment or to finance the health of her sick child.

Set in a remote area in Mindanao, Rose, a young volunteer teacher who tries to fulfill her dream of bringing education to a group of indigenous people through an improvised classroom, finds herself in a conflict between the Lumad and the military personnel oppressing a Bakwit school.

Rebecca Gerona, a retired high school teacher, reflects on the legacy she left as a model teacher and the sacrifices that come along with it such as choosing a lifetime partner and settling down to raise her own family.
