In line with its mission of providing job placement services and career opportunities to the Lasallian community, the Office of Counseling and Career Services (OCCS) will be holding its biannual DLSU Job Expo with the theme “Ascend to Higher Limits” at the Corazon Aquino Democratic Space, Henry Sy, Sr. Hall from February 17 to 21, 2019.
Over the last decade, it has become evident that the way people live and work is altered by factors such as globalization, the rapid increase in information & communications technology and significant demographic shifts. Keeping up with these trends, this year’s Job Expo encourages Lasallians to “Ascend to Higher Limits” where they spread their wings and start to take flight. It emphasizes their commitment to continuously raise standards of learning to become globally competitive and employable.
Over 120 top local and multinational companies from various industries will be participating the event. Also, there will be non-government organizations (NGOs) and government agencies who would be participating. Other services such as SSS application, PAG-IBIG application, Postal ID application, and BIR application will be available as well. Various companies will conduct company talks to provide the applicants an overview regarding the companies’ mission, vision, and corporate culture. These events will also be beneficial in exploring the job and internship opportunities offered by these companies. In addition to these, there will be on-campus interviews and exams during the week.
The event is open to the whole Lasallian community, including senior high school, alumni, and students of all Lasallian schools.
