De La Salle University through the Office Counseling and Career Services (OCCS), proudly unravels the LARGEST university internship and career fair amongst universities and colleges in the Philippines, YUGTO II: Reach For New Horizons, this August 9 to 13, 2021.
DLSU-OCCS has perpetually been committed to its mission in providing job placement services and career opportunities to the Lasallian community, which includes current students, alumni, and students from other La Salle schools. With the changes brought by the pandemic, OCCS will be conducting the second edition of the DLSU Job Expo 2021 virtually via ZOOM Video Conferences. The theme IKALAWANG YUGTO symbolizes the unfolding of a successive chapter filled with profound learnings from the previous edition wherein it represents the capabilities of Lasallians to turn the tides in their favor. Embracing the continuous adaptation of the new normal, Lasallians persistently flourish for constant innovation and excellence by possessing a mindset of hyper-learning—creating an opportunity amidst life’s drastic changes. IKALAWANG YUGTO demonstrates and accentuates how the Lasallian education shapes Lasallian achievers to change the world for the better.
Over 100 local and multinational organizations coming from various industries, together with a number of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and government agencies, will be participating in the weeklong event. Despite the limitations caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Lasallians will still be able to interact with company representatives by visiting the virtual company booths in ZOOM where each organization will be managing its own breakout room or ZOOM meeting link. To be able to self-select a breakout room and seamlessly roam from one company booth to another, it is recommended to have an updated ZOOM account. At the same time, company events such as career and recruitment talks will additionally be held during the weeklong event in which these aim to serve as an avenue for Lasallians in developing their competencies and briefing themselves about the specific employment opportunities, corporate culture, and environment of different companies.

IKALAWANG YUGTO welcomes the whole Lasallian community, including senior high school, alumni, and students from other La Salle schools where DLSU students and alumni will be able to access the links using their active DLSU email addresses while students of other La Salle schools must send an access request using their official student email addresses (EDU email address).
