The stock market is one of the biggest players in the investing world, especially as more and more people are entering the investing stage with the stock market. With this, DLSU Investors’ Society would like to invite all Lasallian students to its very first webinar entitled “Intro to Stock Market” on November 9, 2022, from 4PM to 6PM. In partnership with DLSU organizations, Intro to Stock Market aims to allow every Lasallian to enter the financial world by giving an overview of what the Stock Market is like especially when at least 100 organization members and 200 non-members join us in this upcoming event.
The “Intro to the Stock Market” event is for people who want to get a head start on financial literacy or are new to the stock market. People will have a better understanding of what to expect or what lies ahead in their journey to the stock market due to this event. The end goal of this webinar is to inform members and non-members about the basics of the stock market, show the importance of investing and dispel common misconceptions about the market.
Luis Limlingan, the speaker of the event, has a master’s degree in MBA and currently works as a head of sales at Regina Capital Development Corporation. He also has numerous appearances on business shows such as Mornings on Bloomberg and Market Edge on ANC. Some of the topics being tackled by the speaker are the do’s and don’ts of investing, what a stock market is, and its types.
