Following the resounding success of our first edition held last February 27-29 (F2F) and March 12-14 (online) where Lasallians seized countless opportunities amidst dynamic circumstances, we are excited to announce the theme for this year’s event “Futuristic Frontiers: Tomorrows Within Reach.” The second edition of the Job Expo is designed to drive Lasallians to new heights, transforming potential into tangible achievements. With this forward-looking theme, we aim to inspire and prepare our community to embrace the future and navigate the ever-changing landscape with confidence and skill.
This weeklong event creates a valuable link for Lasallians whether undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni alike, by offering extensive internship and employment opportunities through partnerships with local and multinational companies in the country. The Office of Counseling and Career Services (OCCS) remains committed to raising educational standards and promoting adaptability to enhance global competitiveness and employability for the Lasallian community and the country. Additionally, this initiative is open to alumni and students from other La Salle institutions, further expanding the network of opportunities available to all.
This second edition of the Job Expo will host more than 85 local and multinational companies from diverse industries, alongside several NGOs, partner institutions and organizations, and government agencies. There will be several chances for DLSU students and alumni to interact with these businesses on LSLinks, including exciting roadshows, relevant corporate events, and interactive booths. Furthermore, our renowned Diamond and Gold Company Partners will host job talks over the week, providing insightful information on how to improve employability and job readiness for the Lasallian community. The Job Expo will begin each day with a roadshow showcasing the companies who are participating that day, giving brief overviews of their businesses, work environments, and career prospects.
