Sanctum Luna Art Market aims to showcase artists’ personal hand-crafted merchandise and related artwork. It had its first pop-up at University Mall in February 2020. The event was warmly received by the Lasallian community and achieved unprecedented success. Hence, the organizers planned to have it as a yearly event. However, because of the COVID pandemic in March 2020, future events were shelved.
In 2023, two (2) years since Sanctum’s 1st pop-up in 2020, the latter returned to University Mall. The organizers did not expect that the event would become a success anew among the students of La Salle, College of St. Benilde and other schools in Taft Avenue, considering that these schools are still implementing limited face-to-face classes which limits the number of students in the campus.
In September 2024, Sanctum Luna had its 3rd pop-up at University Mall and it turned out to be the most successful among the 3 events that it had, as it went beyond expectation. An estimated 12,000 people came during the 3-day event. Because of the overwhelming success, Sanctum Luna plans to do more events every year and continuously showcase various artists and exhibitors that are regulars from other popular events, such as Komiket, Patron of the Arts (POTA), etc.
