What is it about Laureen that makes a lot of people question or change their beliefs? What is it about her that makes her a favorite even among the pool of students who have flunked her class?
The current Ambassador of the United States to the Philippines Philip Goldberg was sworn in last November, 2013. Since then, Goldberg has picked up from where former Ambassador Harry Thomas, Jr. took off, and a number of notable events have already taken place such as the signing of the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement.
Support systems in place and Bar-ready
The first batch of DLSU College of Law (COL) graduates will take the Bar Exams this October at the University of Santo Tomas. Known to be the most difficult among all licensure examinations in the country, this year’s Bar exams will make or break the first batch of Lasallian lawyers.
For the past decade, De La Salle University (DLSU) has been offering ladderized programs in selected degrees. Ladderized programs are a ‘fast track’ to earning a higher degree, allowing enrolled students to get credit for higher graduate courses immediately after completion of prerequisite courses. In other countries, ladderized programs are commonly referred to as ‘accelerated programs’, or ‘combined programs’.
USG to students: “Talk to us.”
With the University Student Government (USG) determined to organize a different set of activities this year to cater to the changing needs and interests of the students, the overall effectiveness of these activities has become the top priority of all USG units. Feedback and suggestions from students are now given higher regard when the different units plan for the activities and advocacies that will be offered to their constituents.
In line with De La Salle University’s (DLSU) goal of being a learner-centered research university and expanding its campuses at the Science and Technology Complex (STC) in Biñan, Laguna and the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig, several construction plans are now in progress to address the University’s growing academic and institutional needs.
Midway through the current term, the traditional rivalry of political parties will again be put to play this academic year when they go head to head for seats in the University Student Government during the Freshmen Election.
