You attend class and find that your professor hasn’t shown up in days. Upon checking your DLSU e-mail account, you are just then told of the news: The professor has passed away, leaving their desk empty for all days. Maybe you wonder about your grades, or who will take over the class. But as you […]
With books now just a click away, thanks to e-books and tablets, the entire reading experience becomes convenient, instant, and almost effortless. This, however, forces bookstores to close their doors, with independent bookstores being the first to go before the big book chains. Such is the tragic reality of bookstores caught in the midst of […]
It’s Thursday once again. Stepping out of Br. Andrew Gonzales Hall, the music from the various bars nearby resonates as the stream of people heading in that general direction never fails to amaze those whose only Thursday night plan is to get some sleep. But then again, this is what Thursday nights are for a […]
You might remember hearing sudden cries of terror coming from all around the campus in response to the undead pointing towards Haunted Hall during University Week, but possibly the most terrifying among all of them was the main villain of The Conjuring 2 herself. Whether it’s Jeron Teng and Kiefer Ravena trading buckets in the basketball court, or the Lady Spikers and Lady Eagles vying for championship gold, the excitement and electricity is always palpable in the air whenever the blue team from Katipunan […]
It’s been more than a month now since DLSU opened its halls to a relatively foreign program to not only the University, but to the Philippine Education System in general. The integration of the Senior High School (SHS) program was implemented and met with mixed reactions from the Lasallian community. From their first day on […]
One of the most interesting programs that the University offers is the double degree program. It’s a great way for students to expand their horizons as two courses are bridged together to make an invaluable combination, one program from the College of Liberal Arts and another one from the Ramon V. del Rosario – College […]
